Setup checklist
Use this checklist to get InboxEagle fully configured. Each step takes only a few minutes and unlocks a new layer of deliverability visibility.
-
Add your brand and sending domain
Go to the Dashboard and add your first brand. Then add the sending domain you use in your email’s “From” address (e.g.
mail.example.com). -
Connect Google Postmaster Tools
In Integrations, connect your Google account and verify your sending domain in Google Postmaster Tools. This unlocks domain reputation, spam rate signals, and delivery error data from Google.
-
Connect Klaviyo (optional)
If you use Klaviyo, go to Integrations → Klaviyo and authorise the connection. This lets you correlate campaign performance (opens, clicks, list engagement) with deliverability scores side by side.
-
Deploy Bot Finder (optional — Amazon SES users)
If you send via Amazon SES, set up Bot Finder to filter bot opens and clicks from your engagement data. Without filtering, privacy proxies and security scanners can inflate your open rates and skew deliverability decisions.
-
Check your deliverability scores
Open Deliverability for your brand. Review:
- Authentication — SPF, DKIM, and DMARC status for your sending domain.
- Inbox placement — Inbox, promotions, and spam rates by provider (Gmail, Yahoo, AOL).
- Domain reputation — Google Postmaster domain and IP reputation once connected.
