Klaviyo analytics
After connecting your Klaviyo account to InboxEagle, the Klaviyo dashboard gives you a unified view of campaign performance, list and segment health, engagement timing, and bot-filtered metrics — all in one place without switching tabs in Klaviyo.
Navigate to Klaviyo in the left sidebar, or go to app.inboxeagle.com/klaviyo/dashboard.
Campaign statistics
Section titled “Campaign statistics”The Campaigns tab lists all campaigns synced from Klaviyo, with key metrics for each.
| Column | Description |
|---|---|
| Campaign name | Campaign name from Klaviyo |
| Sent | Total number of messages sent |
| Delivered | Messages that reached the recipient’s inbox (sent minus bounces) |
| Bounced | Delivery failures (hard + soft bounces) |
| Opened | Unique opens (raw Klaviyo figure, includes bot opens) |
| Clicked | Unique clicks (raw Klaviyo figure, includes bot clicks) |
| Unsubscribed | Recipients who opted out after this campaign |
| Spam complaints | Recipients who marked the email as spam |
Key rates
Section titled “Key rates”| Rate | Formula | Healthy benchmark |
|---|---|---|
| Open rate | Opened ÷ Delivered | > 20% |
| Click rate | Clicked ÷ Delivered | > 2% |
| Bounce rate | Bounced ÷ Sent | < 2% |
| Unsubscribe rate | Unsubscribed ÷ Delivered | < 0.5% |
| Spam complaint rate | Complaints ÷ Delivered | < 0.1% |
| CTOR | Clicked ÷ Opened | > 10% |
Click-to-open rate (CTOR) is the strongest indicator of content relevance. It measures how many people who opened your email also clicked — filtering out passive openers and privacy-proxy opens. A low CTOR with a high open rate suggests your subject line is working but content is not compelling.
Campaign detail
Section titled “Campaign detail”Click any campaign row to open the campaign detail view, which shows:
- Subject line and preview text
- Send time and list/segment used
- Hourly engagement timeline
- Email client breakdown for this campaign
- Bounce and complaint sub-types
Lists and segments
Section titled “Lists and segments”The Lists and Segments tabs show all synced audiences from Klaviyo, along with a health risk score.
Risk scoring
Section titled “Risk scoring”Each list or segment receives a risk score from 0 to 100, calculated from three factors:
| Factor | Weight | What it measures |
|---|---|---|
| Bounce rate | High | Hard + soft bounces from recent sends to this audience |
| Spam complaint rate | High | Subscriber-reported spam for this audience |
| Invalid rate | Medium | Email addresses that appear invalid or undeliverable |
| Score range | Risk level | Recommended action |
|---|---|---|
| 0–20 | Low | Healthy list; continue normal sending |
| 21–50 | Medium | Review recent bounces and complaints; consider a re-engagement campaign |
| 51–80 | High | Pause sending to this list; clean invalid addresses and suppress complainers |
| 81–100 | Critical | Stop sending immediately; this list poses a significant deliverability risk |
High risk scores often indicate:
- Old lists that haven’t been mailed in 6+ months
- Lists built through co-registration or purchased sources
- Segments containing inactive subscribers without suppression
List metrics
Section titled “List metrics”Each list card shows:
- Subscriber count — Total active subscribers
- Growth rate — Net new subscribers in the past 30 days
- Audience type — List or Segment
- Last synced — When InboxEagle last pulled data from Klaviyo
Time-based analytics
Section titled “Time-based analytics”The Analytics tab surfaces patterns in engagement timing to help you choose optimal send times.
Best send times
Section titled “Best send times”A heatmap shows open rates by hour of day and day of week based on your historical Klaviyo data. Darker cells = higher engagement.
Use this to:
- Schedule campaigns for peak engagement windows for your audience
- Avoid low-engagement times that inflate your apparent open rate (privacy proxies are less prevalent at unusual hours)
Day-of-week performance
Section titled “Day-of-week performance”The day-of-week chart compares average open rate, click rate, and unsubscribe rate across Monday–Sunday. Most audiences show a U-curve with stronger engagement early in the week (Tuesday–Wednesday), but your data may differ based on your industry and audience geography.
Email client breakdown
Section titled “Email client breakdown”The Email clients chart shows the distribution of opens by email client (desktop, mobile, web) and platform (Gmail, Apple Mail, Outlook, Yahoo, etc.) for the selected date range.
This data is valuable for:
- Rendering priorities — If 60% of your audience opens in Apple Mail, test your templates in Apple Mail first
- MPP impact assessment — Apple Mail users on iOS 15+ have privacy protection enabled by default, which artificially inflates open tracking
- Mobile optimization — If >50% open on mobile, prioritize single-column, large-text layouts
Metrics
Section titled “Metrics”The Metrics tab lets you browse and analyze custom Klaviyo metrics — events beyond standard opens and clicks, such as purchases, product views, or custom conversions you’ve defined in Klaviyo.
For each metric you can see:
- Total event count
- Unique profiles that triggered the event
- Revenue associated (if configured)
- Trend over time
Syncing Klaviyo data
Section titled “Syncing Klaviyo data”InboxEagle syncs your Klaviyo data on a daily schedule. To force an immediate sync:
- Go to Integrations → Klaviyo in the InboxEagle app
- Click Sync now
- Wait for the sync to complete (a spinner appears; typically 30 seconds to a few minutes depending on account size)
If data appears stale or a campaign is missing, a manual sync usually resolves it. If data is still missing after syncing, check your Klaviyo connection status — the API scope may have changed after a Klaviyo password reset or token rotation. See Klaviyo webhook configuration for connection troubleshooting.
Bot analysis for campaigns and lists
Section titled “Bot analysis for campaigns and lists”If you have both Klaviyo and Bot Finder connected, InboxEagle can cross-reference bot detection results with your Klaviyo campaigns and lists.
- Campaign bot analysis — View bot rates per campaign (open bots, click bots, suspicious events)
- List bot analysis — Identify lists with higher-than-normal bot engagement (often stale or purchased lists)
Access these from the campaign or list detail view by clicking the Bot analysis tab.
